Gratitude

Thanksgiving is here. It's a time to reflect on our accomplishments and give thanks to some of friends and family that have helped us along the way. You've been through a lot of changes in the last three months. So for this post please reflect on one accomplishment you are proud that you accomplished and one friend or family member that has helped you in some way that your thankful for.

  1. One accomplishment I'm proud of is keeping my grades up. There's a lot of work due in high school. It was very hectic for me in soccer season with all the practices, games, homework, and tests. On person I'm thankful for is my mother. She helped me stay on track and made sure I kept up with my work.

  2. One accomplishment that I made was making the Booster team. I had never been part of an official step team and I didn't have much experience. I wanted to be part of the Booster team because it is the closest sport to a dance team that this school offers (other than cheerleading). I can't only state one person to be thankful for because it was the collaboration of my parents and my grandparents that allowed me to even get to the try-outs. Because of them, I could go home from Pennsylvania with my parents the day before, travel to St. Saviour with my dad, and then have my grandparents pick me up from the try-outs and drive back to their house in Pennsylvania so that I could stay with them for the next week. I truly am thankful for all of them, because I would not be a Booster without them.

  3. One accomplishment that I made was getting through the first few months of school. I have had fun with my friends and I have learned a lot. I like my classes. I joined a few clubs like Skyline and The Gaelic Society. I have enjoyed school so far. I am thankful for my mom. She is my number one fan. She helps me and supports me. When I am upset or stressed she shows me the light in the situation. I am thankful for her because she is an amazing mom.
