Hi ladies. I hope you enjoyed your break. I thought we would use our first post of Q4 to post about some of the things you did during your break. Since nothing is normal these days, how did you spend your break? Share your experiences with us.
During break, I managed my time so that I would do one homework assignment per day so that I would have plenty of time for myself each day. I honestly thought Easter would be a bore at first, but there was still an Easter gift exchange and basket. This week, I played a lot of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and I worked on a personal project. On Wednesday, I joined a Harry Potter Drama class and I honestly felt the best that I have in a while. I'm meeting with kids about my age from New York to Hawaii to Australia (and I think England). The class is very fun, and I can finally use my creative skills and express my love for the franchise as freely as I want. I don't really get that as much as I used to anymore on a daily basis, because I am surrounded by a different group of people than those I did last year. This break has been a turning point for me during this crisis, and I couldn't be more thankful for it.
I didn't really do much over break due to quarantine. However, I did play darts in my backyard, and I cooked for my parents all day on their anniversary.
I spent the break watching a lot of Youtube video to learn more Adobe Photoshop skills. I also played a lot of video games. Currently i'm playing Skyrim and the new Doom Eternal. I also enjoyed watching Netflix, cooking a LOT, playing with my cats, exercising and spending time with family, which we normally don't get to do.
I did a lot of things over break. I wanted to keep myself busy, so I ordered a lot of diy projects to do. I made tie-dye shirts with my family and we died eggs for Easter. I also made banana bread. I was supposed to go to Disney World with my family over break, but obviously we didn’t go. So my sister made an at home Disney World. It was fun. I have been working out everyday to keep myself busy. I had a lot of fun over break, despite all of the challenges going on in the world.
